Experiential marketing services are becoming more important as brands use live events to build communities rather than depend only on one-time impressions. Concerts, sports, festivals, cultural pop-ups and premium hospitality programs are giving brands ways to connect with audiences through shared experiences that feel more personal than conventional advertising.
India’s live events market shows the scale of this shift. An EY-Parthenon and BookMyShow report valued the country’s live events industry at Rs 13,000 crore and described it as a growing avenue for brands using immersive, real-world experiences to build stronger consumer engagement in a digitally saturated market.

The same pattern is visible in other markets. American Express used its 2026 Month Out campaign in Australia to connect dining offers with curated experiences, including a Sydney activation with New York’s Milk Bar. Reporting said the campaign contributed a USD 216 million boost for the local dining industry and helped drive customers back to participating venues.
These examples show why experiential marketing services are expanding beyond event production. Brands need partners that can identify the right cultural moment, build a relevant experience and connect it with business goals. The activation must feel authentic to the audience and useful to commercial partners.
Community building is especially important for lifestyle, retail, financial services, technology and hospitality brands. A well-designed experience can give customers a reason to gather around a brand without feeling like they are being sold to. That emotional permission is difficult to achieve through digital ads alone.
Luxury and beauty brands are also leaning into experience-led engagement. Sephora’s 2026 Summer Club activation brings beauty, hospitality and wellness into resort-style settings in Brooklyn and the Florida Keys, including product access and public events tied to seasonal leisure. This approach demonstrates how an experience-oriented brand can combine shopping with living.
For B2B brands, community building may look different. It may involve executive roundtables, industry labs, customer advisory events or immersive product showcases. The goal is still the same. Brands want deeper relationships that outlast the event itself.
The challenge is relevance. A brand cannot simply attach itself to a popular event and expect trust. Audiences notice when an activation feels forced. Experiential marketing service providers must help clients choose contexts that match audience values and brand credibility.
The next phase of live brand engagement will likely reward agencies that understand culture as well as logistics. The best experiences will create participation, not just foot traffic.
Experiential marketing services are becoming community-growth partners. Their value will be measured by whether they help brands build meaningful audience relationships that continue after the event environment disappears.
